In this episode, Dave Tussing talks with Trieu-Tien Kawas about authenticity in the workplace. Throughout her dynamic career, Trieu-Tien has stuck to her values and demonstrated the value of “I don’t know.” In this conversation, the two touch on getting out of our comfort zones, work/life balance, and the difference between a company that values individual hard work and one that values teamwork.
Trieu-Tien Kawas brings over 20 years of comprehensive experience in areas of management, consulting, technology, risk management and training in local and global environments. She has the proven ability to develop high-performance teams that drive and embrace change and deliver the best cost-effective technology solutions to meet customers’ needs.
Dave Tussing is a leader that cares about the whole person, and inspiring others to live into their full potential and calling. He strives to infuse ethics and values into business and to lead teams to improve the world as they grow their business. Dave has led teams across technology, healthcare and sports / retail industries at companies ranging in size from small pacific northwest based companies to some of the largest companies in the world. He holds a BA in Accounting and BS in Computer & Information Science from George Fox University and obtained his MBA from Portland State University. As a lifetime learner he also obtained an executive certificate in Strategy & Innovation from MIT and has completed courses in data science and AI/ML from Udacity. With learning, there is no finish line.
