In this episode, Dave Tussing talks with Nishant Bhajaria about ethics in the tech industry and in tech companies. What role does big tech have in modern society, and what role should it have? How does change actually take place in a company?
Nishant Bhajaria is a cybersecurity and privacy executive and author of Data Privacy: A Runbook for Engineers. His work is to protect user data and customer trust in large companies, and he’s done so for giants like Nike, Netflix, Google, and Uber. Nishant holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
Dave Tussing is a leader that cares about the whole person, and inspiring others to live into their full potential and calling. He strives to infuse ethics and values into business and to lead teams to improve the world as they grow their business. Dave has led teams across technology, healthcare and sports / retail industries at companies ranging in size from small pacific northwest based companies to some of the largest companies in the world. He holds a BA in Accounting and BS in Computer & Information Science from George Fox University and obtained his MBA from Portland State University. As a lifetime learner he also obtained an executive certificate in Strategy & Innovation from MIT and has completed courses in data science and AI/ML from Udacity. With learning, there is no finish line.
